OFA/CHIC Information
Tega was my "foundation" girl. She came to me to do anything I wanted with her. Field (one JH leg, then life got chaotic) Rally, Agility (she hates trials), House mate, and mother of three litters. When she came into my house, she brought a new zest for life to Cat and Wells. She was a very cooperative girl with a definite mind of her own. Aside from her Championship title and Best in Show Specialty win, she earned her first JH leg, her RN Title and played on agility equipment since she was 10 weeks old. She was not a competitive dog. She loved contacts, she loved jumping, she loved play. She loved hunting in the fields, but she was not a believer in competition! My fault as I am not a "go for the title "person either!
The Explosion litter that was born in January 2006 proved her qualities as a mother. She was perfect! She raised them with love and waved good by as they left. KABOOM! (FAWA-WR Ignite the Fuse) stayed here for her to continue to train and for a bit of 'explosion' in our life. Her second litter, the Spring Sprouts, was born in the spring of 2007, they too have gone to their homes and are proving a delight (and a lot of learning) for their new homes. The Mission Litter was her third and last litter. Kai was my "keeper" from that litter.
Tega lived a wonderful life. She aged (almost 16 years old) with grace. And when it was time to go to the Rainbow Bridge she gave me very clear signs.
