Pictures below taken the last week they were with me. As I write this the pups are intheir permanent homs1 Their New Homes page will be up soon !

Last bath and keeping warm!

Pictures below taken 7/4. For those not int he area, it has rained off an on all day-from downpour to mist to just wet ground. The pups have had some quality time outside, but more time inside than usual. At the moment the pyrotechnic fiends are having fun. They have been fine with fireworks while outside, but do not want to expose them to the gut vibrating stuff people blow off around here... so we wil wait a little for last call for potty..
All collars are off (Mae has blue magic marker inside her ear flap) becasue they were beginning to grab collars and twist !

Buzz has a metal dumbell in his mouth and is on a small skateboard-his choice

waiting for dinner

Rainy day exercise!
Pictures below taken 7/2. The quanity is great, and the quality should make up for lost time taking pictures.. Actually they were having a ball with Tega yesterday. She is teaching them "big dogs can be dangerous" lessons. She is not hurting them, but spends time every day teaching them to be STILL when a dogs says NO!

Pictures below taken 6/29 by Cincy Knowlton (all copyrighted to her) at the Trainer's workshop. I have her permisison to post them.

Pictures below taken 7/1 We are back home after 2 weeks (longer it seems) of travel. The last trip was to New York for a trainer's workshop. The pups had 2 12 hour car rides, learned to walk on leashes (somewhat), demand to be let out of the pen to poop, be handled be over 20 people in an appropriate way, walk in strange woods, and to be adored by all waking by the hotel room as they played in their large pen in front of the room. The pictures in the woods below are taken in the "back yard" at my house.
Pictures below taken in New York at the Suzanne Clothier Trainer's workshop. Note lots of learning to settle in a human's lap :>) They also played in her woods.
Pictures below taken while at Pams between 6/18 & 6/21 Yes there are pups other than Vizslas in a couple of pics- They are Rhodesian Ridgeback pups that are 2 weeks older than the Mission litter. There are also pics of the pups with their cousin-Pixie - Pam's yearling + Vizsla

Pictures below taken 6/14 The Specialty is over and I can go back to picture taking... I dug out my old camera, and using duct tape to hold the battery case shut it works! Today was wonderful weather they were outside three times, had lots of fresh air and had a ball. Note that the beginnings of a confidence course is in place.. all sorts of things that teach them that 'they can do it.'

Pictures below taken 6/11 Today they made a trip ouside-wher ethey spent the first 5 minutes pottying. I hope it is a forcase fo they intelligence, but it may be a rsult of a 3 hrour name while I was picking strawberries.

Pictures below taken 6/8 Yesterday a friend's Vizsla jumped my fence and was "lost" for over 3 hours. She returned back to my house safe and sound, but needles to say we did not take a lot of pictures.

Today they had their fist experience with 'real' food - goat's milk and baby cereal (barley) They have teeth-even some molars- and Tega will be happy to have some help feeding these carnivores. The new video includes the pups chowing down and then play before they became comatose from the new food! Then my grandchildren came for puppy play visit! Tega, Kaboom and I are TIRED!

Pictures below taken 6/6 Today I removed two wooden sides and the pen is now 1/2 high (protect my walls) wood and half X-Pen. More room to play and potty, etc. Tomorrow they will get their first rood tasting. There are those razor teeth arriving and Tega says that they need to start having an alternate food source! A friend is coming for the night tomorrow and we will take the two big (HEAVY) X-pens out and set up their outside play pen.

Pictures below taken 6/5 My camera bit the dust today, I have some video to work on, but am behinder on anything other than "it has to be done" items. I will be using a work camera until I figure out a replacement-so the pictures may not look as good.

Pictures below taken 6/3. Their box has had some redesign. They ar ready for a potty area and a sleep/play area. They now have toys to tug on, and toys that make noise when they step on them. While the design team was working on their box, they had their first experience with linoleum floors-an X-pen in the kitchen was their temporary holding pen-they are too big for the laundry basket when my attention is elsewhere..

Pictures below taken 6/2 they have NEW collars-sort of real collars...note Buzz is now dark blue..
Perhaps tomorrow I will get some video done and some new pics. I am busy these days-pups and work and Vizsla Club duties.

Pictures below taken 5/29 and a new videouploaded to YouTube (link above)
Pictures below taken 5/27 & 28 I went back to work for the first time since they were born - Even a 4 hour window away from home eats into free time when there are pups involved

Pictures below taken 5/26 There is a video from today above (day 12) Note the vocal skills of Sally! She is absolutely fine. The moment she is picked up, she is quiet! :> I am not sure if inability to do the things they think they can do is frustating, or she and Katie simply like to make their presence KNOWN!

note the "fin" of excess skin that is above her head and back- this is part of the growth process... More will appear as they grow.

Pictures below taken 5/25
Mae and Katie are the first "peepers" As the pups eyes begin to open it looks like they are peeping through closed lids. The pups are also beginning to push up off the bedding to move-the first steps towards walking (and pottying on their own). Lastly if you compare pictures, you will notice that their ears are growing-the ear canals are beginning to loosen up (they are closed at birth) and soon they will be floppy eared pups with full hearing. Weights: They all started at about a pound.today they weigh from 40 oz to 49 oz.

Pictures below taken 5/24
A couple who are getting a pup came down for a visit and a couple of kids came over for play time

Pictures below taken 5/22 I had to do some income generating work so Tega will be on her own for a few hours today
Pictures below taken 5/21 A quiet day only two people over for a puppy fix

Pictures below taken 5/20 Today two of my grandchildren came to town with a friend to play with the pups (MORE socialization). Tega knows them well and simply went to sleep with all in the puppy box. Katie is beginning to lift her body and use her legs to move.
Pictures below taken 5/19 Today some young girls came over to hold the pups (socialization)

Working on their alphabet-F is for FAWA
(No, I did not pose them-but I was lucky enough to catch it)
