Gretel's New Year Trip
Since my human mom was going on her honeymoon trip, I went to stay with my real mom, my half brother (KABOOM!). We all got in human grand mom's big car and went on a road trip. When I was tiny my brothers and I and mom went on a road trip and met some friends so I was not surprised when we got to the house and some of the same dogs were there....
The house was a litttle bigger than the place on MV (what's that?), but there were three goldens, 2 labs, and three other humans - one with a broken knee (what is a knee?).
Things I learned on my trip:
...1. Treats make going into a crate more fun
...2. I can flirt and get any dog to play with me
...3. SCREAMING while crated = nothing changes
...4. The beach is great fun, but this time of year the water and the wind are COLD!
...5. If I don't eat all my food at one meal, I get less at the next.
...6. Human gand-mom thinks pulling on the leash while walking is NOT a good idea... So lots of people are taking me for walks. And if the collar is tight the human STOPS. This is really hard work-for someone...
...7. I am very powerful... I can tire out two adult Golden Retreivers =, one two year old Vizsla and still be ticking.. I am the everready Vizsla! |
